Kohl's Comments

Phillips’s last event was Kohl’s Fall Ranking Event in October of 2025. He scored 10/12 points on field goals, 107.25 points on kickoffs, and 99.55 points in punting. He is kicking very close to the 5.0-star level. Phillips is someone who should be able to compete early in college on field goals. At the National Scholarship Camp in July of 2025, he competed in both kicking and punting. He scored an impressive 26 points on field goals, 104.03 points on kickoffs, and 95.8 points in punting at the event. Phillips graded out as a college prospect at the event and should attract college interest this fall/winter. Phillips had a solid showing at the 2025 Kohl's National Underclassman Challenge. He showed improved command of his "A" ball in punting and scored 99.37 points. His biggest charted punt was 46 yards with 4.32 seconds of hang time. His overall score on field goals was 16 points and his kickoff score at camp was 103.83 points. Phillips competed at the 2024 Kohl's Western Winter Showcase. He had his best showing to date at camp and produced 13 points in the field goal charting and an overall score of 104.10 points in the kickoff portion of camp. His punt score was 93.11, which includes a big ball of 46 yards with 4.16 seconds of hang time. Phillips had another strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He's made the biggest improvement with his punting ability, but he flashed excellent potential in his kickoffs and field goals at camp as well. His overall score on punting was 97.70 which includes a big ball of 50 yards with 4.10 seconds of hang time. He scored 17 points in the field goal charting and had an overall score of 92.97 in the kickoff charting at camp.
