He scored 7 points on field goals, 96.4 on kickoffs, and 101.7 on punts. His longest hits included a 63-yard kickoff with 3.4 seconds of hang time and a 49-yard punt with 4.1 seconds. Consistent improvement is evident, as he recently participated in the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational, where he made 9 field goals and scored 85.7 on kickoffs, with his best ball traveling 64 yards. Additionally, he delivered a strong punt performance, earning a score of 90.7 with a standout 43-yard punt. Continued focus on technical refinements and weight training positions him well for a successful season ahead. With strong fundamentals as a specialist, his development is clearly reflected in competition. Sterling came out to the 2025 Kohl's Eastern Showcase Camp in May. He scored 3 points on rollout charting and 84.18 points on punts. He has shown improvement in his punting over the last several months. Sterling's best punt was a 41-yard punt with 3.84 seconds of hang time. Continued focus on his drop table will keep Sterling on the path to success.
