Kohl's Comments

Hewitt competed at Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024 and scored an impressive 33/36 points on field goals. He also scored 99.67 points on kick-offs. He was also a finalist in the field goal competition held at the end of camp. Hewitt had a great showing at the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Showcase Camp. He scored 14/15 points on field goals,115.1 points on kickoffs, and 99.9 points in punting. His field goal drill work was the best combination of ball striking and leg strength in the country. Hewitt has D1 talent and will be recruited already this summer! At the Future Stars Invitational, he flashed excellent potential in all three areas of camp and has the coordination and leg speed to become a college-level combo prospect. Hewitt had another strong showing at the 2023 Kohl's Eastern Winter Showcase. Coming off of a huge HS season he had excellent drill work and solid charting at camp. He commanded his "A" ball well and he scored 8/15 points in the field goal charting. His overall score on kickoffs was 103.05 which includes a big ball of 68 yards with 3.53 seconds of hang time. His punting technique is sound, and his confidence in his hands is improving. His biggest charted punt at camp was 45 yards with 3.84 seconds of hang time. Hewitt is very advanced in ball striking and has a huge next 12-18 months ahead!
