Kohl's Comments

Gopez had another strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp! He won the punt competition held at the end of camp. He also scored 103.95 points over three charting sessions. Gopez also scored 17/36 points on field goals at camp. Gopez is the most consistent punter in the 2026 class at this point. He handles competition and pressure extremely well! At the Eastern Spring Showcase, he again showed consistent ball striking. He has excellent technique in punting and has the ability to play early in college. He scored 7/15 points in the field goal charting and produced a kickoff score of 99.15. He moved well in the roll-out portion of camp and connected with a big ball 49 yards with 4.42 seconds of hang during the traditional pocket-style punt charting. Gopez had a great showing at the 2023 Kohl's Eastern Winter Showcase. He excelled in all three disciplines and impressed with his consistency throughout the camp. He turned nearly every punt over during charting and he has excellent technique. He scored 101.51 points in the punting portion of camp and had a big ball of 49 yards with 4.29 seconds of hang time. He scored 11/15 points in the field goal charting and connected with a big ball of 64 yards with 3.66 seconds of hang time in the kickoff charting.
