Gopez participated in the 2025 Kohl's Eastern Spring Showcase and delivered a strong overall showing. He made 8 field goals during the charting session and earned a kickoff score of 104.80 points, with his best ball traveling 70 yards and 3.81 seconds of hang time. He also impressed in the punting phase, scoring 97.26 and hitting a standout punt of 50 yards with 4.11 seconds of hang time. Gopez displayed well-rounded ability as a combo specialist and has the tools to compete at the next level. Gopez competed at the 2025 Underclassman Challenge and scored 103.86 points in punting. He also attended a December 2024 Showcase Camp and scored an impressive 107.24 points in punting. He also scored 83 points on kickoffs and 10/15 points on field goals. He won the punt competition held at the end of camp as well! Gopez had another strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He won the punt competition held at the end of camp. He moved well in the roll-out portion of camp and connected with a big ball 49 yards with 4.42 seconds of hang during the traditional pocket-style punt charting. Gopez had a great showing at the 2023 Kohl's Eastern Winter Showcase. He excelled in all three disciplines and impressed with his consistency throughout the camp. He turned nearly every punt over during charting and he has excellent technique. He scored 101.51 points in the punting portion of camp and had a big ball of 49 yards with 4.29 seconds of hang time. He scored 11/15 points in the field goal charting and connected with a big ball of 64 yards with 3.66 seconds of hang time in the kickoff charting.
