Frey came out to the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp. He had another good performance and scored 10 points on field goals. He strikes his "A" ball with great confidence. Frey scored 93.50 points on kickoffs with a big ball of 58 yards with 3.56 seconds of hang time. Frey also scored 87.51 points on punt charting with a big ball of 45 yards with 4.31 seconds of hang time. Frey competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp and scored 97.94 points as a punter, 24/36 on field goals, and 99.65 points on kick-offs. He is continuing to get stronger and more consistent. He also competed at the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He competed well in all 3 disciplines and earned another half-star as both a kicker and punter. Frey scored 8/15 points on field goals and showed his smooth technique. Frey scored 106.05 points on kickoffs. His leg strength has improved significantly as he connected on a big kickoff of 71 yards with 3.54 seconds of hang time. Frey scored 94.12 points on punt charting and scored 8 points on roll-outs. He punted the ball well on the move. Frey's biggest charted punt was a 51-yard punt with 4.19 seconds of hang time. Frey has seen gains in his leg strength due to his hard work in the weight room. Frey competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He was dominant on field goals at the event where he scored 23 combined points. During the punt portion of camp, he connected with some great "A" balls, and with continued emphasis on controlling his drop longer, he can become a high-level punter. Frey has elevated his recruiting potential and has an important next 12 months to continue to develop!
