Danny Cantarella looked strong among some of the nation’s best during the 2026 Kohl's Senior Showcase. He flashed excellent potential in the field goal charting and competition portions of camp on a strict field goal grid and he excelled in the kickoff portion of camp by scoring 111.3 during kickoff charting, highlighted by a top ball traveling 77 yards with a hang time of 3.5 seconds. he has the leg speed and overall command to be an excellent college prospect. At the 2025 Kohl's Western Winter Showcase, he scored 13 points on field goals and achieved 106.7 points during kickoffs, featuring a 71-yard kick with 3.6 seconds of hang time. His performance at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp was also impressive, where he scored 22 points in field goals and recorded a standout 76-yard kickoff with 3.4 seconds of hang time. This consistent performance across events indicates strong leg strength and technique, reflecting his college-level potential and ongoing development. Profile Summary / Personal Statement
I’m a 6’3”, 220-lb specialist who takes pride in being a kicker first, and I can punt at a college level when needed. I love the craft of kicking and the pressure that comes with it. Every day I’m working on clean technique, strength, recovery, and film so I can be the most consistent and reliable guy on the field.
I try to be coachable, steady, and a good teammate. My faith and family have taught me to work hard, stay humble, and do things the right way. I try to bring good energy, lead by example, and help the guys around me get better.
I want to play college football because I love the game, the competition, and the brotherhood. I’m looking for a program that values special teams and develops its players. I’m ready to compete, improve, and represent my school the right way on and off the field.
