Kohl's Comments

Shoaps’s last event was Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2025. He competed in both kicking and punting. He scored 25 points on field goals, 110.45 points on kickoffs, and 105.26 points in punting at the event. Shoaps graded out as a 5-star k/p college prospect at the event and should attract college interest this fall/winter. Shoaps had another strong performance at the 2025 Kohl's Eastern Spring Showcase. He is an impressive athlete that continues to work hard on his kicks. He scored 12/15 points in the field goal charting and produced a kickoff score of 112.55. He scored 98.45 in the punt charting and has been working hard at continuing to improve his combo ability. Shoaps competed at the 2025 Underclassman Challenge. He scored 17 points on field goals and 112.98 points on kickoffs. Shoaps is a very talented player who should draw D1 interest in the coming months! At the 2024 Kohl's Eastern Winter Showcase he delivered an overall kickoff score of 103.35, with his standout ball traveling 68 yards and hanging for 3.48 seconds. In punting, he earned an overall score of 93.14, with his "A" ball traveling 44 yards and hanging for 4.34 seconds. Shoaps showcased his high-level ability as a dual-threat specialist and has positioned himself well for future success.
