Kohl's Comments

Gonzales recently kicked at Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He scored 25 points on field goals and 110.9 points on kickoffs at the camp in July of 2025. Gonzales has been a top performer for the last year at every big event! He has the consistency and talent to play in college. Gonzales also competed at the Southern Showcase in May of 2025. He scored 112.7 on kickoffs and 12/15 points on field goals. His drill work again showed superior ball striking skills. At the Underclassman Challenge in January of 2025, he scored an impressive 19 points on field goals and 107.80 points on kickoffs. He won two field goal competitions against other very talented players. He made 65 and 63 yard field goals in the finals of the competitions. He has the demeanor college coaches are looking for! Gonzales also competed in December of 2024 at the Southern Showcase and won the field goal competition at camp. He also scored 110.55 points on kickoffs and 13/15 points on field goals. He is a D1 kicker with outstanding leg speed. At Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024, he had another excellent showing. He scored 108.48 points on kick-offs, 27/36 points on field goals, and 86.6 points in punting. His leg strength might be the best in the 2026 class. He has excellent command of his ball striking and he showed once again at the 2024 Kohl's UC Challenge to be one of the most consistent ball strikers in the country for his age. He scored 11 points in the combined field goal charts and produced a combined score of 109.13 in the kickoff charting. He commands his "A" ball with ease and has excellent technical refinement with his swing. Gonzales had an incredible showing at his first ranking event, the 2023 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase. He was in total command of his body, and he impressed the staff with his pure ball striking. He scored 14/15 points in the charting portion and created phenomenal lift and rotation on his strikes during the drill work portion of camp. His overall score on kickoffs was 108.35 which includes a big ball of 72 yards with 3.87 seconds of hang time. He will be fun to watch develop over the next two years!
