    Poggio showed great improvment at his latest event, the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He displayed improved command of his ball flight in field goals and was able to chart 14 points overall at camp. He flashed solid power for a younger athlete and produced a score of 89.38 in the kickoff charting. His overall score in punting was 80.88 which includes an imoressive "A" ball of 45 yards with 3.83 seconds of hang time. Rhys Poggio attended the 2025 Kohl's Spring Ranking Event. He connected on one field goal and earned a kickoff score of 90.70. His best ball traveled 57 yards with a 3.48-second hang time. With continued focus on refining his technique, Poggio has the tools to improve his overall kicking consistency and power.

    Athlete Bio

    Rhys Poggio is a Class of 2029 kicking prospect with a strong foundation and high ceiling. He has been a starting kicker for both youth and middle school teams over the past three seasons, consistently demonstrating poise and leg strength well beyond his age. Rhys has earned multiple selections to Team MoKan through the Football University (FBU) program, competing at Championship Week in Naples, FL in both 2022 and 2023 and helping lead his team to a Midwest Regional finalist appearance in 2024.

    Known for his explosive leg, Rhys has recorded multiple touchbacks at the middle school level and regularly hits field goals from 50+ yards in training. His longest in-game field goal is 33 yards, made as an 8th grader. With continued development and training, Rhys is an exciting young specialist to watch in the 2029 class.
