Kohl's Comments
Poggio had his best overall showing to date at the 2026 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He was dominant overall and established himself as one of the top combo prospects, for his age, in the country. He scored 101.15 in the punt charting, connected with 25/33 in the field goal portion and scored 101.23 points in the kickoff portion of camp. He is an elite level talent who will be fun to watch develop the next 3 years. The 2026 Kohl's Midwest Spring Showcase allowed Rhys Poggio to display his strong mechanics and overall progress. During field goal charting, he recorded 12 points. Kickoff charting followed, where he posted 108.1 points and a longest kick of 69 yards with 4 seconds of hang time. His punt session added 94.9 points with a best ball of 41 yards and 4.6 seconds. He is one of the top combo prospects in the country and he impressed in all three disciplines at camp. Rhys Poggio is a 2029 combo specialist with advanced technique, strong leg talent, and rapid on-field development. As a freshman, Rhys was named Honorable Mention All-State Kicker by the Wichita Eagle and named to the 2025 Kohl's All American team for the class of 2029.
