Brust participated in the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational. He earned a 98.5 kickoff score, with his best ball traveling 64 yards with 3.50 seconds of hang time. With continued work on refining his technique, Brust has a lot of potential as a specialist. Brust attended the 2025 Kohl’s Southern Spring Showcase and had a strong day on kickoffs. He made 7 field goals during the charting session and finished with a good kickoff score of 105.30. His best kickoff traveled 71 yards with 3.46 seconds of hang time. Brust showed good leg strength and upside with continued development.
