Brust had an impressive showing at his most recent camp, the 2026 Kohl's Texas Spring Ranking Event. He impressed the staff by scoring 12 points in the field goal charting and hit some impressive kicks in the drill working and competition portion of camp. His overall score on kickoffs was 104.10 with a big ball of 70 yards with 3.46 seconds of hang time. He is an excellent ball striker who continues to improve. Luke Brust demonstrated good command of his abilities during his charting at the 2025 Kohl's Western Winter Showcase, earning 9 points in field goal charting and 97.5 points in kickoff charting, with his best kick measuring 64 yards and 3.4 seconds of hang time. He also excelled at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational, achieving a kickoff score of 98.5 with a best ball of 64 yards and 3.5 seconds. At the 2025 Kohl’s Southern Spring Showcase, he made 7 field goals and earned a kickoff score of 105.3, with his longest kickoff reaching 71 yards and 3.5 seconds of hang time. With ongoing refinement of his technique, he shows significant potential as a specialist. Competing against some of the top specialists in the country, Brust is continuing to make progress in his development.
