Licata came out to the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship camp. He had another solid performance kicking the football over the weekend. Licata scored 14 points on field goals, 91.95 points on kickoff charting, and 86.49 points on punts. Licata's best kickoff traveled 63 yards with 3.44 seconds of hang time. His best punt was a 46-yard punt with 3.66 seconds of hang time. Licata has solid mechanics. Continuned efforts on leg speed and weight training will help him grow his game over the next two seasons. Licata recently competed at the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Event. He put up 3 points on the field goal session, battling the cold conditions. During the kickoff charting, Licata was consistently kicking around the 55-yard mark with his big ball measuring a distance of 55 yards with a hang time of 3.10 seconds. He finished off the punting session with an overall score of 83.48. He connected with his standout ball that measured 36 yards with a hang time of 4.08 seconds. Licata is a talented combo specialist that has a big two years ahead of him. Licata also competed at the 2023 Kohl's Eastern Winter Showcase. Licata competed in all three disciplines, doing well for it being his first ranking event. Licata showed good ball rotation during the field goal charting, scoring 8 points. During the kickoff session Licata recorded his stand out kick with a distance of 58 yards with 3.26 seconds of hang time. He ended the punt charting with an overall score of 79.04, and a big ball of 36 yards with a hang time of 3.09 seconds. Licata has good control of his mechanics and will continue to grow as a specialist as the leg strength improves. It will be fun to watch the development over the next two years.
