Kohl's Comments

Elam’s last event was Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2025. He competed in both kicking and punting. He scored 18 points on field goals, 102.23 points on kickoffs, and 104.25 points in punting at the event. Elam graded out as a college prospect at the event and should attract college interest this fall/winter. Elam also competed at the 2025 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase and put together a strong showing across all three disciplines. He connected on six field goals during the charting portion and earned an impressive kickoff score of 107.50, with his best ball traveling 73 yards and hanging for 3.75 seconds. He also performed well as a punter, earning a punt score of 97.42. His top punt of the event traveled 46 yards with a 4.36-second hang time, reflecting excellent ball striking and control. Elam continues to prove himself as a well-rounded and high-upside specialist. Elam also competed at the 2025 Kohl's Spring Ranking Event. He scored 102.2 points in punting, 104.6 points on kickoffs, and 5 points on field goals. At the Future Stars Invitational, he won the 2026 class punt competition on Day 1 and scored 103.34 points in the punt charting. His overall score on kickoffs was 101.95 points, and he scored 7 points in the field goal charting. Elam had another strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. He was impressive in all three disciplines at camp and had his best overall showing at camp. He scored 12/15 points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 102.75 points. His punt score for camp was 103.45 in the traditional punt charting and he scored 8 additional points in the rollout portion of camp. He has improved his leg speed and his overall coordination has gotten better.
