Walton competed at the 2024 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase and made 10 field goals while showing good ball rotation. He earned a 91.85 kickoff score with a standout ball of 61 yards and a 3.19-second hang time. Continued offseason work could help him take his game to the next level. Walton came out to the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He had another strong performance and earned a 4-star rating. Walton scored 7 points on field goals and he showed growth in his mechanics over the last 9 months. Walton scored 96.30 points on kickoffs with a big ball of 64 yards with 3.41 seconds of hang time. We are impressed with the strides Walton has made with his leg strength. Continued efforts in the weight room paired with some tweaks to his technique will continue Walton's growth over the next two years. Walton recently participated in the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Showcase. He scored 10 points on the field goal charting. Walton's kickoff charting earned him a score of 85.37 points, with his top kick reaching a distance of 56 yards and a hang time of 2.98 seconds. Walton has potential as a specialist, and with continued practice and refinement, he has the opportunity to make strides in his kicking skills.
