    Kohl's Comments

    Gounares attended the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He scored 5 points on field goals, 89.60 points on kickoffs, and 91.50 points on punts. His best kickoff traveled 60 yards with 3.19 seconds of hang time. Gounares punted well and earned another half-star. His best punt traveled 37 yards with 4.00 seconds of hang time. Efforts focused in the weight room will contribute to Gounares' success in the future. Gounares recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Fall Ranking Event. He had an excellent showing at camp and proved to be one of the better young combos at camp. He scored 4 points in the field goal charting and connected with a big ball of 53 yards with 3.60 seconds of hang time in the kickoff charting. During the punting portion of camp, he charted nearly all of his punts over 30 yards including a big ball of 50 yards with 4.15 seconds of hang time.
