Gounares competed well at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He had a solid overall showing and once again displayed collegiate ability as a combo prospect. He scored 96.84 points in the punt charting which includes a big ball of 50 yards with 4.37 seconds of hang time. His overall field goal total was 22 points and his combined kickoff chart scored 103.35 points. His biggest charted kickoff was 75 yards with 3.41 secconds of hang time. Gounares competed at the 2025 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. He charted 10 field goals and scored a 101.90 on kickoffs, with his best ball traveling 67 yards with 3.57 seconds of hang time. He also had a strong punting performance, earning a 94.50 overall score and hitting a standout punt of 40 yards with 4.28 seconds of hang time. It was a well-rounded showing that highlights his all-around leg talent. Gounares competed at the 2025 Kohl's Future Stars Invitational. He scored 94.55 points in the kickoff portion of camp and connected with 4 points in the field goal charting.
