Montgomery recently competed at the 2025 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. He had another impressive performance and he produced great charts in all three categories. He scored 10 points in the field goal charting and scored 101.35 points in the kickoff portion. His punts produced a score of 101.97 which includes a big ball of 49 yards with 4.35 seconds of hang time. Montgomery had a strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's California Winter Showcase, registering 7 field goals and a 98.85 kickoff score. His best kickoff ball traveled 64 yards with a hang time of 3.58 seconds. Additionally, in punting, he finished with a 91.11 punt score, highlighted by a best ball of 47 yards with a hang time of 4.13 seconds. With continued refinement, Montgomery has significant potential to continue his development as a specialist. Montgomery competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 11 points on field goals, 90.87 on kickoffs, and 94.46 on punts. He shined brightest punting the football during the weekend. His best punt was a 48-yard punt with 4.34 seconds of hang time. Montgomery has big ball potential as a punter. Continued hard work on mobility and strength training will help Montgomery's growth over the next two seasons.
