    Nelson had another showing at the 2025 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase Camp. He scored 102.30 points in the kickoff charting and produced a big ball of 67 yards with 3.57 seconds of hang time. His overall score on field goals was 8 and he produced some well struck footballs in the drill work portion of camp. Nelson attended the 2025 Kohl's Future Stars Invitational. He showed improved command of his ball striking in the drill work and charting portions of camp. His overall score on field goals was 5 points and his kickoff score was 104.95 points overall. Nelson competed at the 2024 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase, where he made 1 field goal and recorded a kickoff score of 81.40. His best ball reached 53 yards with a hang time of 2.88 seconds. Cleaning up his ball striking consistency this offseason will help push him to take that next step as a specialist.
