Long recently competed at the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Invitational. He scored 1 point in the field goal charting. He worked hard on his technique during the drill work portion of camp and he showed improved command of his "A ball during drill work. His biggest charted kickoff at camp was 58 yards with 2.94 seconds of hang time. He has solid leg speed for a younger athelte and with continued focus on his technique the next two years, should be in a great place to see improvement in his overall ability. Long competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase. Here he had 1 point on the field goal session. During the kickoff charting, his big ball measured a distance of 56 yards with a hang time of 3.06 seconds. Long should focus on his ball striking consistency as he looks to take that next step in his development as a specialist.
