Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2024-2025 high school football season.
Kohl's Comments
Ferrin recently competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He once again competed in all three disciplines and showed college level combo ability. He scored 23/36 possible points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 100.52 in the kickoff portion of camp. His overall score on punts was 91.06 which includes a big ball of 46 yards with 4.54 seconds of hang time. Ferrin competed well at the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Showcase Camp in May and showed improved mechanics and command. Ferrin scored 10 points on field goals, 108.85 points on kickoffs, 101.23 points on punts, and 10 points on roll-put charting. He demonstrated good versatility as he excelled at both punting from the pocket and on the move. His best punt was a 54-yard blast with 4.04 seconds of hang time. Ferrin connected on a 76-yard kickoff with 3.56 seconds of hang time. Ferrin has proven he can excel at all three disciplines at the college level.Awards & Honors
