Kohl's Comments

Ferrin competed well at the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Showcase Camp in May and showed improved mechanics and command. Ferrin scored 10 points on field goals, 108.85 points on kickoffs, 101.23 points on punts, and 10 points on roll-put charting. He demonstrated good versatility as he excelled at both punting from the pocket and on the move. His best punt was a 54-yard blast with 4.04 seconds of hang time. Ferrin connected on a 76-yard kickoff with 3.56 seconds of hang time. Ferrin has proven he can excel at all three disciplines at the college level. Ferrin had an excellent showing at the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Invitational. He produced a tremendous kickoff chart and scored 108.25 points including a big ball of 75 yards with 3.43 seconds of hang time. He was impressive during the field goal chating as well and he scored 8 points. His overall command of his "A" ball was elite and he came out of camp as one of the best prospects there. Ferrin competed at the 2023 Kohl's Eastern Winter Showcase. Here he had a great performance for his first ranking event. He was able to show good command of the football on the field goal session, putting up 9 points. During the kickoff charting, Ferrin showed his advanced leg speed through contact driving his big ball a distance of 65 yards with a hang time of 3.21 seconds. Ferrin will be a prospect to watch moving forward!
