Kohl's Comments

Carey competed at the 2025 Underclassman Challenge in January of 2025. He scored 15 points on field goals and 110.95 points on kickoffs. Carey also had an excellent showing at a 2024 Winter Showcase Camp. He scored 103.30 points on kickoffs and 13/15 points on field goals. At the National Scholarship Camp, he scored 31/36 points on field goals and 105.78 points on kickoffs. He has the leg strength and repeatability to play at the D1 level. He also had a strong showing at Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase Camp. He possesses one of the strongest legs in his class and he caught fire during the drill work portion of camp and ended up winning the underclassman field goal competition. He scored 8 points in the charting portion of camp. His kickoffs were consistent and he flashed elite-level leg talent. His overall score on kickoffs was 112.65 which includes a big ball of 74 yards with 3.87 seconds of hang time. Carey's ball striking has improved to the point that his is a legit D1 prospect!
