Salas had a great showing at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed solid mechanics and good "pop" on his kicks. He scored 20 points in the field goal charting and controlled his ball flight well. His overall score on kickoffs was 99.85 points and his biggest charted ball was 73 yards with 3.74 seconds of hang time. He flashed potential in the punt charting and ended up scoring 89.71 points. He connected with a big ball of 48 yards with 4.26 seconds of hang time.
