Drake had another strong showing at the 2023 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase. He displayed solid ball striking skills and scored 7 points in the field goal charting. His overall score on kickoffs was 98.10, his biggest charted kickoff at camp was 66 yards with 3.40 seconds of hang time. Drake had a solid showing at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp.
