Kohl's Comments

Trout competed in a December 2023 Showcase Camp. He scored 9 points on field goals and 103.8 points on kick offs. His best charted kick off traveled 70 yards and had 3.41 seconds of hang-time. His performance in the drill work phase of camp showed he belonged to be rated as a 4.5-star player. Trout had a great showing at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. It was his most complete performance and he scored 20 combined points in the field goal charting. His "A" ball was improved on his field goals, and he crushed some kickoffs in charting including a big ball of 72 yards with 3.85 seconds of hang time. His overall kickoff score was 104.27. His hard work is paying off and he is in a great spot to have a dominant season this fall! Trout competed at the 2023 Southern Showcase. He scored 8 of 15 points on field goals and 101.1 points on kick-offs. He moved up to the 4.5-star level as a kicker. At the 2023 Kohl's Future Stars Event he showed refinement in his ball striking and was able to command his "A" ball well throughout the event. He scored 7 points in the field goal portion of camp and was able to connect on a big ball of 64 yards with 3.30 seconds of hang time.
