Kohl's Comments

Zapata recently kicked and punted at Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He scored 18 points on field goals, 110.87 points on kickoffs, and 84.9 points on punts at the camp in July of 2025. Zapata showed the leg strength and overall consistency needed to play in college. Zapata also competed at the 2025 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He had another solid performance. Zapata scored a strong 11 points on field goals, 114.3 on kickoffs, and 94.68 on punts. He has a huge kickoff leg and connected on a 76-yard blast with 4.09 seconds of hang time. Zapata also connected on a 44-yard punt with 4.26 seconds of hang time. Zapata has college potential in all three disciplines. Zapata also competed at the 2025 Kohl's Future Stars Invitational. He scored 107.05 points in the kickoff charting and connected with 7 points in the field goal charting. His overall score in punting was 88.55 points and his biggest ball charted was 39 yards with 4.12 seconds of hang time. Zapata competed at the 2024 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase, where he made 2 field goals and earned a 102.35 kickoff score. His standout kickoff traveled 67 yards with a hang time of 3.60 seconds. Zapata also achieved a punt score of 69.72. Zapata has an important senior season ahead of him!
