Ference competed at the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Showcase and scored 110.1 points in punting. He also scored 105.1 points on kickoffs and 9/15 points on field goals. He is a complete specialist with more upside as a punter currently. At the National Underclassman Challenge, he showed improvement with his command of his ball striking in both field goals and kickoffs. He scored a combined 8 points in the field goal charting and had an overall score of 98.45 in the kickoff charting. His punting was again his strength and his overall score was 99.58. His biggest charted punt at camp was 54 yards with 4.18 seconds of hang-time. Ference competed at a 2023 Showcase Camp in December. He scored 7 points on field goals, 89.55 points on kickoffs, and 101.56 points in punting. His best punt was a 47-yard ball with 3.91 seconds of hang-time. His performance in the drill work phase of camp was impressive and his hands are very good for a high school player.
