Kohl's Comments

French recently kicked and punted at Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He scored 18 points on field goals, an impressive 113.17 points on kickoffs, and 100.21 points on punts at the camp in July of 2025. French showed the leg strength and overall consistency needed to play in college. French had an excellent showing at his first ranking event, the 2024 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. He was impressive throughout the event and he commands his "A" ball well. He scored 9 points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 100.00 in the kickoff charting. His biggest charted kickoff was 67 yards with 3.42 seconds of hang time. He flashed potential in the punting as well, and creating more consistency with his drop will be key for his continued development. His punt score was 86.87 which included a big ball of 45 yards with 3.88 seconds of hang time.
