Gavin Gonzales’s performance at the 2026 Kohl's Senior Showcase demonstrated a solid all-around effort. He finished the field goal charting phase with 4 points and followed it with 115.8 points in kickoff charting, where his top ball reached 78 yards with a hang time of 4 seconds. He won the overall kickoff competition at the event and displayed an excellent "A" ball at camp. At the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July 2025, he scored 18 points on field goals and 106.47 points on kickoffs. Additionally, Gonzales connected on 12 field goals and earned an impressive kickoff score of 116.5 at the 2025 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase. His consistent improvement and elite leg strength continue to position him as a high-level specialist with potential college interest on the horizon. Overall, he was a reliable performer throughout the event, showcasing his ability to be a strong prospect. Gonzales attended the 2024 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. He was excellent in the field goal charting and produced a score of 10 points. His drill work was consistent, and his "A" ball was excellent. His overall score on kickoffs was 97.15 and his biggest charted kickoff was 68 yards with 3.63 seconds of hang time. He competed in punting as well and flashed an excellent "A" ball. His overall score on punts was 90.21, which included his biggest punt of 41 yards with 4.03 seconds of hang time. Gonzales came out to the 2024 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event in Texas. Once again, he showed above-average technique and leg speed. Gonzales scored 10 points on field goals, 107.00 points on kickoffs, and 95.43 points on punts. His leg strength has also improved over the last few months. His best kickoff was a 71-yard blast with 3.66 seconds of hang time. Gonzales' best punt was a 46-yard punt with 4.16 seconds of hang time. Gonzales competed at Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024.
