Kohl's Comments

Boyd came out to multiple showcases this May. We saw him at the Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp where he earned a 4.5-star rating. He scored 11 points on field goals and demonstrated good ball-striking throughout the day. Boyd scored 98.95 points on kickoffs with a big ball of 64 yards with 3.60 seconds of hang time. Continued efforts in the weight room will keep Boyd on this upward trajectory. Boyd recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. Boyd had a great showing for his first ranking event, demonstrating good leg speed through contact for a younger athlete. He ended up with a score of 7 points on the field goal charting. During the kickoff session, he was very consistent with each of his balls reaching 60+ yards. Boyd's standout ball measured a distance of 66 yards with a hang time of 3.15 seconds. Boyd will be a fun prospect to watch these next two years!
