Hoekert participated in the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational and put together a solid showing in all three phases. He converted on 15 field goals during the charting session and posted a 101.42 kickoff score, with his best ball reaching 68 yards and 3.80 seconds of hang time. He also earned an 79.43 overall punt score. He should be in store for a big season ahead. Hoeker competed at the 2025 Kohl's Midwest Showcase Camp in May. He performed well and earned another half-star as a kicker. Hoekert scored 10 points on field goals and showed great command of his "A" ball. He also scored 103.60 points on kickoffs, 81.50 on punts, and 4 on rollouts. His leg strength has improved since the winter. Hoekert connected on a 68-yard kickoff with 3.84 seconds of hang time. Continued efforts on weight training will keep Hoekert on this upward trajectory. Hoekert came out to the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Showcase Camp in December. He scored 5 points on field goal charting, 97.25 points on kickoffs, 2 points on roll-out punts, and 82.69 points on punt charting. Hoekert's best kickoff traveled 62 yards with 3.62 seconds of hang time. He creates great lift on his clean kicks. His best punt was a 46-yard punt with 3.50 seconds of hang time. Hard work on his drop table will aid his punt development. He has a good foundation on field goals. Hard work in the weight room will also help Hoekert's growth over the next year.
