Kohl's Comments

Perez had a solid showing at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed marked improvement with his punting at camp and had a strong overall showing. He scored 96.84 points and connected with a big ball of 53 yards with 4.45 seconds of hang time. He scored a combined total of 13 points in the field goal charting and connected with a big ball of 60 yards with 2.85 seconds of hang time in the kickoff charting. Perez competed at a Kohl's Winter Showcase Event in December of 2022. He competed in all three disciplines at the event and showed that his punting is slightly ahead of his kicking at the moment but he has the coordination to do both if he continues to refine his technique and gain the confidence needed to compete with athletes ranked ahead of him.
