Kohl's Comments

Helmke competed at Kohl's 2024 National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024. He scored 29/36 points on field goals and 109.1 points on kickoffs at the event. This camp again showed why Helmke is a D1 player! Helmke recently competed at a March Ranking Event. He scored 112.05 points on kick-offs and 10/15 points on field goals at the event. His "A" ball is outstanding. He also competed at the Underclassman Challenge and showed very well on kickoffs, scoring 117.30 points. He also scored 13 points on field goals. Helmke has elite leg talent. At a December 2023 Showcase Camp, he scored 12/15 points on field goals and 110.85 points on kickoffs. He earned an invite to the Underclassman Challenge in January with his strong performance at camp. His best charted kickoff at camp traveled 74 yards and had 3.97 seconds of hang-time. Helmke is a talented ball striker who also recently competed at the 2023 Fall Ranking Event. He scored 9/15 points on field goals and 112.2 points on kickoffs. He was also impressive during the drill work phase of camp. His leg speed has improved significantly in the last year. At Kohl's Future Stars Camp, he was excellent in the field goal charting and was able to connect on 9 points.
