Kohl's Comments

Gonzales had another solid showing at the 2026 Kohl's Western Spring Showcase. He competed in all three disciplines and put up some solid numbers. He scored 8 points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 88.65 in the kickoff charting. His overall punt score was 83.94 which includes a big ball of 35 yards with 4.31 seconds of hang time. Colton Gonzales continues to demonstrate a solid mix of power and consistency in his performances. At the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational, he successfully connected on 10 field goals, achieved a kickoff score of 69.4, and recorded a top kickoff of 52 yards with 2.6 seconds of hang time. Additionally, he earned a punt score of 68.9. Moving forward, he should concentrate on enhancing his power and hang time to further develop as a specialist. With refinement in his technique, he is a strong prospect in his class to keep an eye on.
