Murphree had his best showing to date at the 2025 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. He scored 8 points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 100.00 in the kickoff charting at camp. His biggest charted kickoff was 64 yards with 3.65 seconds of hang time. He has worked hard the past 6 months and his command and leg strength have improved. Murphree competed at the 2024 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase, making 3 field goals and recording an 87.30 kickoff score. His best ball reached 54 yards with a hang time of 3.37 seconds. Focusing on improving his ball striking consistency during the offseason will help him continue to develop his skills. Murphree came out to the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He graded out as a 3.5-star athlete as his first ranking event. Murphree scored 2 points on field goal charting and demonstrated smooth mechanics as the day went on in drill work.
