Murphree competed at the 2024 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase, making 3 field goals and recording an 87.30 kickoff score. His best ball reached 54 yards with a hang time of 3.37 seconds. Focusing on improving his ball striking consistency during the offseason will help him continue to develop his skills. Murphree came out to the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He graded out as a 3.5-star athlete as his first ranking event. Murphree scored 2 points on field goal charting and demonstrated smooth mechanics as the day went on in drill work.
