Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2024-2025 high school football season.
Kohl's Comments
Stimson had a solid showing recently at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He is back and nearly recovered from his injury that kept him out. He is an athletic prospect who moves well and creates excellent power into his attempts. He purely punted at camp, and he flashed an excellent "A" ball. Continuing to build confidence in the release of the ball on his drop should help him continue to develop. His overall punt score was 95.36 which includes a big ball of 52 yards with 4.20 seconds of hang time. Stimson showcased his talents at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He competed in all three disciplines at camp and had another strong overall showing. He scored 15 combined points in the field goal charting and scored 96.47 points in the kickoff charting. He connected with some excellent punts in charting sessions of camp and connected with a big ball of 55 yards with 4.06 seconds of hang time. Athlete Bio
Carter Stimson is a 2025 K/P at St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Virginia.
As a Junior, Carter was named D.C. All-Met First Team Kicker/Punter, Virginia Division I All-State First Team Kicker, and IAC All-Conference Kicker/Punter. He set a school record with a 54-yard field goal, was perfect (9/9) on field goals inside 45 yards, and averaged 43 yards per punt.
As a Sophomore, Carter was named Virginia Division I All-State Second Team Kicker and IAC All-Conference Second Team Kicker/Punter. On the final play of his Sophomore season, Carter made a 43 yard walk-off field goal to give his team a 23-22 victory on Senior Day.
