Buhr competed at the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Showcase Camp and scored 14/15 points on field goals and 115.5 points on kickoffs. He also won the kickoff competition at camp. He earned a 5-star rating at the Underclassman Challenge. He scored 113.25 points on kickoffs and 13 points on field goals at this difficult camp. In December of 2023, Buhr had a good day at a winter Showcase Camp. He scored 11/15 points on field goals and 109.65 points on kickoffs. His biggest kickoff traveled 74 yards and had 3.83 seconds of hang-time. Buhr also competed at the 2023 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event. He scored 11/15 points on field goals and 109.9 points on kickoffs. He is a talented kicker who also had a strong junior season. At the Spring Showcase in May he showed impressive mechanics and ball-striking ability during the field goal drill portion of camp. He displayed his leg power with a big ball of 75 yards with 3.77 seconds of hang time during kickoff charting. At a December 2022 Showcase Camp, he scored 10 points on field goals and 97.95 points on kickoffs. Buhr also attended a Kohl's ranking event in October of 2022 in Dallas, Texas. He had a very impressive camp and was able to score 10 out of 11 during the field goal charting phase of camp and hit a 68-yard, 3.81-second hang time kickoff. He also won the field goal competition for the 2025 class and younger. We expect big things from Buhr because he has the talent required to build on over the upcoming year to be a dominant specialist in his class.
