Kohl's Comments

Von Der Meden competed at Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2025. He scored 115.83 points on kickoffs and 26 points on field goals over the three charting sessions. He graded out at the 5-star level as a kicker at the event and has a bright future at the next level. He flashed high level ability in the punt portion of camp and charted a big ball of 45 yards with 4.56 seconds of hang. He should attract D1 interest this fall and next spring! Von Der Meden also competed at the 2025 Kohl's National Underclassman Challenge. He was impressive at the event and charted some excellent kicks. His combined kickoff score was 110.53 points and his field goal total was 15 combined points. He has excellent lift on his "A" ball and is one of the best ball strikers in his class. Von Der Meden had another excellent showing at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. The ball jumps off his foot and he once again showed the leg speed and coordination that turned heads at the camp. His overall score on kickoffs was 109.80 with a big ball of 73 yards with 3.79 seconds of hang time. In the field goal charting he produced 11 of 15 possible points and connected with some impressive "A" balls in the drill work and competition phases of camp. Von Der Meden was dominant at Kohl's 2024 National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024. He scored 31/36 points on field goals and 108.12 points on kick-offs.
