Kohl's Comments

During the July 2026 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in Gatlinburg, Alexi Balog demonstrated solid command of his fundamentals and performed at a high level throughout the event. He scored 15 points in field goals and achieved a kickoff total of 105.0, with a best kickoff of 72 yards and 3.9 seconds of hang time. He showed potential in the one session he could complete in punting and he connected with a big ball of 49 yards with 4.26 seconds of hang time. His reliability as a specialist was further highlighted at the 2026 Kohl's Western Spring Showcase, where he scored 11 points in the field goal round and reached a 104.7 kickoff score with a longest kick of 75 yards. Technique improvements were evident during the 2026 Kohl's Future Stars Event, where he made six field goals and posted a 96.8 kickoff score. Balog's solid fundamentals and growing confidence were also apparent at the 2025 Kohl's Western Winter Showcase, where he earned 6 points in the field goal session. He already shows strong ability, and top-level competition should continue to help him feel comfortable on game day.
