Currin attended the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He earned another half-star at camp and scored 2 points on field goals. He was able to connect on a few nice reps during drill work and is very coachable. Currin scored 93.00 points on kickoff charting with a big ball of 60 yards with 3.30 seconds of hang time. Currin's leg strength has improved over the last 6 months. His punting has made the biggest improvment and he is now amongst the best punters in his class. He charted an impressive score of 107.23 and connected with some huge punts, including his big ball of 51 yards with 4.62 seconds of hang time. Continued efforts in the weight room will keep paying off over the next two years. Currin recently competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase. Here he had 2 points on the field goal session. During the kickoff charting, his big ball measured a distance of 61 yards with a hang time of 3.16 seconds. Currin had an overall score of 86.84 on the punt session, with his standout ball measured at a distance of 39 yards with a hang time of 3.47 seconds. Currin should continue to work on his ball-striking consistency as he looks to take that next step as a specialist.
