Barzd came out to the 2024 Kohl's Eastern Showcase Camp in May. He scored 3 points on field goals and 98.70 points on kickoffs. Barzd connected on multiple kickoffs of 60 yards or more, striking a big ball of 66 yards with 3.46 seconds of hang time. Barzd scored 83.65 points on punts and 7 points on roll-outs. His best punt was a 35-yard punt with 3.69 seconds of hang time. Efforts focused on his drop table and in the weight room will contribute to Barzd's success as a combo athlete. Barzd had a strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Event. Here he put up 5 points on the field goal session. Despite the cold conditions, Barzd showed excellent leg speed through contact during his kickoff charting, ending with an overall score of 105.55. Barzd sent his standout ball a distance of 70 yards with a hang time of 3.75 seconds. Barzd has the potential to play at the next level and his hard work is definitely paying off. Next year is an important one for him. Barzd also competed at the 2023 Kohl's Eastern December Showcase.
