He earned an impressive 101.95 kickoff score, recorded a strong 88.89 punt score, and converted 18 field goals during charting, demonstrating a good combination of power, consistency, and versatility. Schimmel has all the tools to become a high-level combo specialist, and with continued focused training and development, his long-term potential is promising. Schimmel competed at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational. He had a solid showing in the field goal portion by making 11 attempts. He finished with a kickoff score of 88.68, with his best kickoff traveling 61 yards and 3.60 seconds in hang time. Continued development on both consistency and power will help him round out his overall kicking skill set.
