Kohl's Comments

Castro competed at the 2025 Kohl's Future Stars Camp. He converted on 4 field goals and showcased solid kickoff ability with a 92.95 kickoff score. His best kickoff traveled 62 yards with 3.21 seconds of hang time. Castro demonstrated a good foundation for his kicking, and with continued development, he has the potential to refine his skills even further. Castro also competed at the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase. He showed good "pop" for his first ranking event and flashed solid potential in kickoffs and field goals. He scored 4 points in the field goal charting and produced a kickoff score of 90.85 which includes a big ball of 59 yards with 3.44 seconds of hang time. Working to create more command of his ball/foot contact will be key for his continued development.
