Kohl's Comments

Fontenot competed at the 2023 National Scholarship Camp and scored 104.21 points as a punter. At the Underclassman Challenge in January of 2023 he scored 14 points on field goals, 106.7 points on kick-offs, and 101.7 points on punts. He also attended a December 2022 Showcase Camp. He scored 10 points on field goals, 105.3 points on kick-offs, and 109.4 points on punts. Fontenot had another strong showing at the 2022 National Invitational Scholarship Camp. He hit impressive kicks at the event scoring 22 points on the field goals charts. His punting score of 99.97 was also impressive. He has charted a punt that went 46 yards with 5.15 seconds of hang-time! He has flashed improvement in punting hang-time and distance. In May, Fontenot was able to score 111.7 points in punting. His hands and overall leg strength have improved and he is ready to compete for college opportunities!
