Dorn competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Southern Spring Showcase. Here he showed an improvement in all of his metrics from his last attendance at the 2022 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase Camp. He displayed his attention to improving his body control during the drill work throughout the day. Dorn scored 4 on the field goal charting. During the kickoff portion, Dorn was able to kick each of his balls past his last camp's big ball, with many of them surpassing the 55 yards. His big ball was a 57-yard kickoff with 3.06 seconds hang time. Continued focus on consistent ball striking and improving leg speed will help Dorn reach his potential as a specialist.
