Smith competed at the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp and was snapping with tight rotation and great velocity throughout the weekend. He finished with the 13th-highest charting score in the 2024 class and multiple .67-second snap times. He has shown at multiple Kohl's Snapping Camps that he is one of the best snappers in the country. Smith has polished mechanics that allow him to snap the ball consistently under pressure. He is an exciting prospect in the 2024 class and has what it takes to play at the next level.
