Kohl's Comments

Jones recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's Spring Showcase. He showed signs of improvement and refinement in his technique in place-kicking. He had a strong performance scoring 8 points during field goal charting. Jones displayed excellent leg speed and power during kickoffs with his biggest ball consisting of 70 yards with 3.82 seconds of hang time. Ty also scored 84.75 points during punt charting. In the 2023 Kohl's Future Stars invitational, he competed in all three disciplines at the event. He scored 6 points in the field goal charting and was able to chart a big ball of 68 yards with 3.19 seconds of hang time in the kickoff portion. He charted several 40+ yard punts including a big ball of 45 yards with 3.61 seconds of hang time. Jones attended his first Kohl's ranking event during the 2022 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase Camp. His best kickoff was 66 yards with 3.49 seconds of hang time. He added in 4 points during the field goal charting and had several of his punts travel over 35+ yards.
