Brinkmann showed strong improvements during his performance at the 2022 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase Camp. He finished with 40.1 yards and 3.96 seconds of hang time for his average during the punt charting, his best of the camp being a 46-yard punt with a hang time of 4.16 seconds. Brinkmann shows great consistency in his technique and looks to be close to showing his true potential! Brinkmann competed at the 2022 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He flashed improved leg speed and command of his contact at the event where he charted a big ball of 42 yards with 4.27 seconds of hang time. His drop was consistent and he hit several repeatable punts with good opertaion. Brinkmann showed steady improvement from his last performance during the 2022 Kohl's Future Stars Event. He showed flashes of his potential as a punter, finishing with several hang times over 3.9 seconds. Brinkmann is right on the edge of breaking through as a punter, but he must focus on consistent drop timing and powering his hips up and through his contact position.
