Kohl's Comments

Brinkmann had a solid showing at the 2023 National Scholarship Camp. He scored 98.16 points in punting. He's worked hard at improving the command of his drop and he had a great weekend in TN. He flashed huge upside in the charting and was able to connect with a big ball of 49 yards with 4.58 seconds of hang time. At a May Showcase Camp his drill work was better than his charted punts. At Kohl's March ranking event, he showed solid fundamentals, and he moved well once he catches the snap. His hands are soft and he extends the ball well during his drop. His biggest charted ball at the event was 46 yards with 3.87 seconds of hang time. He was consistent with his distance by charting nearly all of his punts over 40 yards at camp. Brinkmann showed strong improvements during his performance at the 2022 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase Camp.
