Ward recently competed for the first time at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Showcase. Ward has good power and his leg speed through contact was exceptional. He tallied 16 points on the field goals. During the kickoff charting, Ward achieved an overall score of 99.13. His stand out ball was measured at a distance of 68 yards with a hang time of 3.62 seconds.

I transferred to a 7A school called Hewitt Trussville High school from a 2A school in Indiana. I started taking kicking seriously after my junior year and have been working very hard ever since. I am the starter for my school and am ready to have a great senior year with hopes of getting to get a championship with my team! Still looking for a college team that I can call home.
