Hornbuckle recently attended the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. It was his first ranking event and he showed well at camp. He scored a combined total of 14 points in the field goal charting at camp and connected with a big ball of 66 yards with 3.41 seconds of hang time. His overall score was 93.68 points over the three charting sessions at camp.
