Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2024-2025 high school football season.
Kohl's Comments
Thompson recently competed at the Kohl's Spring ranking event in March of 2023. He improved on his last performance and was able to showcase increased leg speed and power at the event. He scored 2 points in the field goal charting portion of camp and was able to chart several 60-yard kickoffs including a big ball of 61 yards with 3.00 seconds of hang time. Thompson attended the ranking event in October of 2022 in Dallas, Texas. He hit multiple 53-yard kickoffs and gave us glimpses of what he is capable of on field goals. Thompson can refine his technique to gain the confidence needed to compete with athletes ranked ahead of him.Academics
