Kohl's Comments

Butterfield had another great showing at the 2023 Fall Ranking Event. He scored an impressive 14/15 points on field goals and also kicked off well scoring 105.5 points on kick offs. Butterfield has the tools to compete early in college and has made significant progress over his high school career. At Kohl's National Scholarship Camp he worked hard to increase the control of his ball/foot contact on field goals, and it helped him score 22 points in the field goal charting at camp. His kickoffs were solid, he scored 98.20 points and connected with a big ball of 69 yards with 3.50 seconds of hang time. Butterfield competed at the 2023 Kohl's Midwest Spring Showcase Camp. He once again displayed an explosive leg, and he showcased improved punting ability. He scored (6/15) points in the field goal charting and scored 102.20 points in the kickoff charting with a big ball of 69 yards with 3.75 seconds of hang time. Butterfield has college potential as a kicker and has made nice gains in the last year.
