McFarlane competed at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational and put together a well-rounded performance for his first ranking event. He made 9 field goals during the charting session and earned a kickoff score of 95.12. His best kickoff traveled 63 yards with 3.39 seconds of hang time. During the punt portion, he finished with a score of 79.80. McFarlane has upside potential with continued training.Academics
